Sex Education: Netflix Announces the Premiere Date for Season 3; streamable starting September 17th

Sex Education’s new season 3

Netflix announced Thursday that the streaming platform would release the third season of its comedy-drama series Sex Education on Friday.

Laurie Nunn created the British series. It was renewed in February 2020.

Netflix shared an update on the long-awaited episode on Twitter, along with the first look photos of Jemima Kirke, a new cast member.

“The wait is almost over!” The tweet stated that Sex Education Season 3 would premiere on September 17th.

The eight-episode new season will include Asa Butterfield as Otis, Emma Mackey playing Maeve, Ncuti Gatwa as Eric and Jean, Aimee Lou wood as Aimee, and Kedar Williams–Stirling playing Jackson.

According to Deadline, the logline for Sex Education season 3 is: “It’s a new Year, Otis has casual sex with Eric and Adam, and Jean is expecting a baby. Hope, the new headteacher, is trying to make Moordale a pillar for excellence. 

Aimee discovers feminism, and Jackson has a crush. A lost voicemail still looms. Expect to see commitment animals, alien phenomena, and vulva cupcakes, as well as many other Madam Groff moments.

Among others, the series stars Connor Swindells and Chanel Kular, Simone Ashley, and Simone Ashley.

Season three of Sex Education, directed by Ben Taylor and Runyaro Mapfumo, has added Jason Isaacs to the cast.

Nunn wrote the series, and Eleven produces it.
