One of Netflix’s most disturbing shows, Midnight Mass, is back with a new series. Midnight Mass, a seven-episode series from Mike Flanagan, is the latest show. Flanagan is perhaps most well-known for creating The Haunting of Hill House (and its sequel, The Haunting of Bly Manor). While the series, which stars Zach Gilford, Rahul Kohli, and Hamish Linklater, isn’t in the anthology, the trailer shows some similar and creepy vibes. You can see it above.

Here’s the basic premise from Netflix:

Midnight Mass is a small island community whose divisions are amplified when a young man (Zach Gilford) and a charismatic priest (Hamish Lilllater) return. The community feels renewed religious enthusiasm when Father Paul’s visit to Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and almost miraculous events. But is this worth the price?

Horror fans don’t have long to wait to get Flanagan’s new: MidnightMass will be available on Netflix starting September 24th.
