Microsoft's Xbox Night Mode dims your screen and controller

The Xbox night mode offers a lot of customization. Microsoft is developing a night mode for Xbox consoles. The software giant has started testing this night mode with Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring today, and it allows Xbox owners to dim their screens, controller LED brightness and even the Xbox power button.

Night mode offers a variety of options, including dimming levels and an optional blue filter. Microsoft will also allow Xbox owners to dim the LED brightness of their controllers during night mode, dim the Xbox power button lights or turn them off. An Xbox can be set to disable HDR and switch to the night mode.

You can dim the controller’s LED brightness with the Xbox night mode.

You can set the Xbox night mode to either a manual or automatic schedule. It will activate at sunset and turn off at sunrise. Microsoft is currently testing it with Xbox Insiders. It will be available on all Xbox consoles in the following weeks.
