Hugh Jackman reminded his followers and fans to continue their skin testing and use sunscreen.
Hugh Jackman, Hollywood’s star, gave an update on his skin biopsy. He had it done recently to check for possible cancer.
Actor, 52, has a history with skin cancer and shared an Instagram post in which he said that he would go to the doctor after he finishes shooting.
“Update on my biopsy: It’s back ‘inconclusive.’ This means that they didn’t take enough. The worst thing that could happen is a Basel Cell Carcinoma. Jackman added a brief video clip to the post.
Basal cell carcinoma has been treated five times by the Australian actor, best known for his role as the mutant Wolverine of XMen films. In 2017, he was treated for basal cell carcinoma.
Jackman stated in the video that his doctors are not “that worried” about Jackman’s condition.
He reiterated his advice to his followers and fans to use sunscreen and get regular skin testing.
Golden Globe winner expressed his gratitude to well-wishers for their support.
“I look forward to reading your stories and comments. He concluded his post by saying that he reminded one person to see their dermatologist if he posted about it.
Jackman is currently working on the Broadway revival The Music Man, which will open later in the year.
He is also set to star in the upcoming sci-fi movie Reminiscence for Warner Bros. Also featuring Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton; the film will release in the US on 20 August.
